In 2018, their house burned down in the Woolsey fire, a wildfire in the suburbs of Los Angeles. They and their pets survived uninjured. Shortly after the fire, Liam and Miley made a half-million dollar contribution to the Malibu foundation to help others who lost their homes in the fire.
