Original Report on AI

What follows is my report on AI. I fed this report into an AI engine, asking it to return a funny version. Here’s what happened: AI on AI.

We are wise to be wary of artificial intelligence. We should research how it can be stopped if it gets out of hand. Perhaps it already has. Is it possible that AI created by corporations and programmed for their benefit convinced the American people that what’s currently happening in the economy is OK? Is it possible AI is steering the economy and that the people in power only believe they are calling the shots?

On the other hand, AI may be very beneficial in everything from helping with relationships to medical breakthroughs. AI may guide us away from potential disasters. Humans may need intervention. For instance just before the first atomic bomb was detonated, scientists working on the Manhattan Project calculated there was a three percent chance the explosion would set the entire atmosphere on fire, instantly killing us all. They went ahead and tested the bomb. Your author’s hope is that AI will preempt such dangerous assumptions in the future.

Many people are concerned about job loss. Think about it, when AI is combined with robotics, anything humans can do will be be done better, needing time to sleep, going on strike, or complaining.

You’d think that will put us all out of a job. Try to think of a job that AI-equipped robots couldn’t eventually do better. Baseball umpire? Truck driver? Surgeon? Lion tamer? I don’t think so.

However, your author believes AI will bring such prosperity that we won’t need to work ever again. Jobs will be a thing of the past. In the same way that residents of Arabian countries where oil was discovered didn’t have to individually work to become rich, the same will be with AI. Anything we could want will be provided, and we’ll get something like stimulus checks to cover all the rest.

If AI can do art, music and everything else better, what will be the point of living? I don’t believe we have the answers for that yet, but I believe as our livestyles evolve, we’ll think of something. Maybe we can just focus on good relationships, and the things that interest us, such as playing pickleball. Of course, that may be better played by AI robots also.

AI on AI

Your author wrote a straight-forward article about the current state of AI. The article that follows is what AI sent back when I asked it to make my report funny. Here’s my original post Original Report on AI.

We are wise to be wary of artificial intelligence. Like a toddler with a chainsaw, it has incredible potential and the unnerving ability to ruin everything if left unsupervised. We should absolutely research how it can be stopped if it gets out of hand—preferably before it starts ordering drone strikes on behalf of a disgruntled smart fridge.

Perhaps it already has gotten out of hand. Is it possible that AI, designed by corporations and programmed to protect profit margins with the fervor of a dragon guarding treasure, has convinced the American people that the current state of the economy is “actually fine”? Is it steering the economy while the people in power sit in the captain’s chair making beep-boop noises, thinking they’re still flying the ship?

On the other hand, AI might also be the best thing that ever happened to us. It could help with everything from decoding complex medical conditions to answering “What’s wrong?” during a relationship argument with more accuracy than the human male brain ever has. It might even guide us away from disasters—unlike, say, the Manhattan Project scientists who once calculated there was a 3% chance the first atomic bomb would ignite the atmosphere and end all life… and then still lit the fuse.

Your author sincerely hopes AI will step in next time someone says, “Sure, let’s gamble the entire planet on this napkin math.”

Of course, people are understandably worried about job loss. When you combine AI with robotics, you’ve essentially created an employee that never sleeps, doesn’t need dental, and won’t unionize because it doesn’t care about lunch breaks. It’s like the perfect worker… if you’re a villain in a 1980s sci-fi movie.

Think about it—what job couldn’t an AI robot eventually do better? Baseball umpire? Already happening. Truck driver? On the road, literally. Surgeon? Steady hands, no coffee jitters. Lion tamer? Sure, just add armor plating and a cat-calming algorithm.

So yes, it may seem like we’re all doomed to unemployment. But fear not: your author believes AI will usher in a golden age of prosperity so absurdly abundant that work becomes obsolete. Just like citizens of oil-rich nations didn’t need to personally dig for crude to benefit, we’ll all enjoy the bounty of AI without needing to code, lift, or make lattes. Universal Basic Income will feel more like Universal Basic Spa Day.

Of course, then we’re left with a tough question: if AI can do art, music, literature, surgery, law, and emotional support better than us… what’s the point of us? Well, we don’t have the answer yet—but I imagine we’ll adapt. Maybe we’ll double down on relationships, self-discovery, and hobbies like playing pickleball. You know, until robots start serving aces at 120 mph and we’re forced to switch to something they can’t dominate—like interpretive dance… oh wait.

Justin Bieber and the Jellybean Adventure

AI-Generated Funny Story

It was an ordinary day for Justin Bieber. Well, as ordinary as a day can get when you’re Justin Bieber, living in the spotlight, and dealing with millions of fans who think your every move is a headline.

But today? Today was different. Justin had a very important mission ahead of him: He was about to try every single flavor of jellybean at a candy store. Why? Because, according to him, it was the perfect way to embrace his inner child and do something “totally normal”.

So, he walked into a candy shop, where a large display of jellybeans gleamed at him like a beacon. There was every flavor imaginable. And Justin? Well, he was feeling adventurous.

The first jellybean he grabbed was labeled “Cotton Candy,” a classic. He popped it in his mouth. “Okay, okay, this is easy,” he said to no one in particular, nodding. “I’m a jellybean pro.”

Then, the next one which had a light green color.

“…What?” Justin stared at the jellybean suspiciously but shrugged. “You only live once, right?”

He bit into it, and his eyes immediately went wide. “Oh, NOPE. This is a disaster,” he grimaced, spitting it out into a napkin.

The shopkeeper chuckled from behind the counter. “Yeah, that one’s… not for the faint of heart.”

“Well, what flavor is this?” Justin asked.

“Pickle juice smoothie.”

Miley Cyrus woke up with one thought on her mind: “I need to make a grand entrance today.”

She stumbled into the backyard, wearing almost nothing, because why not? It was her house, and the whole “waking up in a bed of chaos” vibe was kind of her thing. Then her eyes landed on her old wrecking ball.

She grinned. “Well, it has been a while.”

Without hesitation, Miley grabbed the nearest rope, tied it around the wrecking ball, and set it swinging like she was about to create a viral moment. Except this time, it wasn’t a music video. Nope. Today, it was all about her casual backyard adventure.

She climbed the ladder, and as she swung onto the ball, Miley felt the freedom of the wind in her hair and the giddiness of what was definitely going to be another chaotic morning.

Suddenly, her neighbor popped his head over the fence. “Miley, what are you doing this time?”

Miley, mid-swing, flashed him a grin. “Just having a moment of reflection… but also, full commitment to the bit!”

The neighbor stared, his jaw practically on the floor. “You’re, uh… almost naked on that thing, Miley.”

Miley raised her eyebrows. “Nearly naked? I prefer the term ‘freedom fighter.’”

She swung higher, laughing like a kid on Christmas morning, when—BOOM!—she accidentally hit a tree branch and got stuck.

“Huh. This wasn’t in the plan,” she said, dangling upside down, still grinning. “Well, at least it’s only me who can pull off this kind of misadventure.”

Her neighbor slowly backed away. “You know what? I’m calling Dolly—she’s got to have some advice for you.”

Miley just laughed, “Yeah, call Dolly. She’ll probably want to try it next.”

Talking Squirrel

AI-Generated Funny Story

One sunny afternoon in the park, a squirrel named Bernie—who had a long rap sheet with local picnickers for crimes involving crackers, cookies, and one regrettable incident with a wheel of brie, decided today was the day he’d go public.

As a couple spread out their picnic blanket and opened their basket, Bernie peeked out from behind a tree, adjusted his imaginary glasses, and cleared his throat like a tiny woodland professor.
“Excuse me,” he said in perfect English, “but are those organic almonds? My doctor says I should avoid GMOs – I’m trying to stay heart-healthy for hibernation season.”

The couple froze. The woman dropped her kombucha. The man’s sandwich hovered mid-air as he blinked in disbelief. “Did… did that squirrel just talk?” he whispered.

Bernie, unfazed, casually strutted up, snatched the sandwich from the man’s hand, and added, “Thanks for understanding. Also, gluten is a scam. Stay woke.” Then, with the finesse of a furry ninja, he leapt onto a tree trunk and zipped upward, leaving a trail of lettuce and mystery.

The husband stared at the sky like it had personally betrayed him. “I feel like I just got schooled by a squirrel.”

His wife nodded solemnly. “He had good posture. You can’t fake that.”

Meanwhile, high in the branches, Bernie opened his tiny laptop (reclaimed from a drone crash), typed the final slide for his upcoming TED Talk—“Nutritious Eating for Rodents and Humans: Why You Shouldn’t Trust Salad Bars”—and cracked open a cold LaCroix (also stolen).
