Brian was sixteen years old, and had just passed his driver’s test. He got by with a minimum amount of instruction and practice. His father bought him a car. Not a new car, but a nice, reliable used one. It was all his parents could afford. On the second day after Brian had his license, he came to a freeway exit. Not knowing any better, he came off the ramp way too fast, and flipped the car over trying to negotiate the curve. The car was totaled, but Brian was okay. That was ten years ago. He has not driven since.
